Mrs Olivia Parris-Bowen

A qualified Health and Safety professional with several years of experience in the field. Mrs Bowen has a deep appreciation for the discipline and has streamlined the University’s Health and Safety Department by establishing policies, processes and activities that brings awareness to occupational safety and health and its purpose.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health from the University of Guyana and a Master’s Degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health from the University of the West Indies. She has also been trained and is certified in several areas that compliment her career in health and safety such as psychology, marketing and safety management.
